@GlasgowCC @juan_gee_78 You are collecting all the browns anyway for food waste! Now the staff have to open every bin without a sticker to check if food waste only in the bin. Do really think that is a good use of Council staff and resources??

@GlasgowCC Can you please justify the extra brown bin charge for garden waste? Why on top of ever increasing council tax charges is it even a thing? Incidentally… I won’t ever pay it so please come get your bin back which has been taking up space in my garden! Cheers

@scottishgreens Your time in parliament has seen tax rises on ordinary working people, cuts to essential local services, inflation busting council tax increases and additional charges for stuff that used to be included.

Greens have used our time in the Scottish Parliament to save people money and protect our planet. From cheaper trains and free bus travel for young people, to scrapping school meal debts and introducing the Nature Restoration Fund. But with independence we can do so much more.

@IndigoFast Not sure what you're proposing here - are we going to buy the infrastructure from the energy generators? Are we going to kick them out and build our own? Are we going to block exports? Where will imports come from when required?

@Glasgowguy1974 @SadofBallantrae @STVNews Scottish water have commercial contracts with English companies to sell water. We don't pump the water down to them though - it's done in the same way theres dozens of energy companies can sell you electricity.

@E11toN17 @anon_opin Going there for an MOT was your first mistake. Use the local garage that fails it, fixes what needs fixed and runs it through again. Doesn't everyone do that?

I have no agenda to bankrupt Halfords but why can't all cars all just use the same lightbulbs? What possible fucking difference can there be between a headlight bulb for a Ford and one for a Vauxhall? Likewise windscreen wipers.

@SadofBallantrae @STVNews 'We' already sell England power and (to a lesser extent) water. If we in this case is private energy generators... Scotland already gets the revenues from that. What would independence change in that respect?

@redcolleen247 @1ssve If you don't, at the very least, have your social media locked down so only close friends and family can see photos of your kids you should really be sorting that right now, this evening. No employer looking at your profile should be able to access that.

@AvonandsomerRob There's this great place for coffee you can go to thats normally quiet, coffee is cheaper than Costa and you can even control the heating, lighting and background music to your taste... maybe try that.

When I pay £5 to sit in Costa for a bit if peace for half an hour with a coffee, I don't expect the place to be used as a creche by screaming kids. Should there be a minimum age for kids to be allowed into coffee chains? I'd suggest 5, and that's being generous..

@davidmcgeoch9 Chucking a whole load of people under the bus there. People are drawn to the extremes when the more established parties stop listening. Many voters can be easily influenced and vote based on soundbites rather than facts or strong policy. Doesn't make everyone a bad person.

She was personally involved in the casting of the 3 kids and called them wonderful and perfect for the roles. She is an Executive Producer so has input into all decisions but she does not have final casting authority for any other characters. So far she hasn't commented on Snape

@pepsi @CocaCola In a restaurant asking for *that other brand* and the waitress would say its Pepsi, is that ok? I used to be able to smile and say yeah, even better. Now, its no, I'll just have a water. You can fix this @pepsi !

@sparklecreek @scottishgreens The SGP helped vote through income tax banding changes in 2018 (ish) resulting in a 41p higher rate starting at £43.5k then signed the Bute House agreement after the last election including upping that rate to 42p. That hits nurses and teachers. They didn't secure a wealth tax.

@markonarant @scottishgreens That manifesto doesn't explain their tax band policy at all. It just talks about a 1% wealth tax on wealth over £1m. So they were defining the rich as the wealthiest 10%? When less than 0.01% owns half the land? Nah. @scottishgreens I hope your manifesto is now vastly improved.

@markonarant @scottishgreens I'm not in Scotland. The strong impression given by journalists and online forums is that the SNP was responsible for refusing to tax wealth and raising tax on nurses and doctors. If the SGP was not vigorously opposing that, it doesn't make any sense to me. It's self defeating.
