Just learned something genuinely bizarre about the Maldives. If you are inside a private resort island, bikinis, alcohol, and Western tourist norms are completely fine. But step onto a local inhabited island and suddenly bikinis are banned outside designated “bikini beaches,” and you are expected to dress conservatively in public. You are expected to dress modestly, covered shoulders, covered thighs (no short shorts or revealing tops).
I honestly find that split deeply outdated, conservative, and weird. The same country is selling one version of itself to tourists with money and enforcing another on ordinary public spaces. It feels less like culture and more like a controlled bubble where freedom is allowed only inside commercial zones. That kind of double standard is hard to admire in 2026.
Funny how you never hear about these things from crusaders of freedom. 🫣

Nobody is talking about it but this is actually true! I'm not sure about reason behind all this so not setting any stereotypes.. I've faced this myself for far severe reason and have seen that fertility clinics have flocked with never ending crowd, doctors push most couples into IVF if they are >30 yrs. They are like you've tried so far, your sedentary lifestyle has taken toll on you, it's already too late your egg repository is depleting... many couples are beyond >33 yrs age craving for one child!
That's why I suggest younger gen to marry earlier around 25 yrs, don't wait till have built career made money.. get serious in life get into a career as soon as possible.
