Update on the Pursuit of Justice for Abhishek Gupta Ji’s Minor Daughter Today, arguments were heard in the Court of the Ld. MM at Karkardooma Courts in the matter concerning the tragic death of Abhishek Ji's 16-year-old daughter, who was, as per Abhishek Ji, sexually assaulted and hanged on 30.07.2025. We placed strong reliance on settled Supreme Court judgments, which clearly hold that upon receipt of information disclosing a cognizable offence, registration of an FIR is mandatory, and the police have no discretion to refuse or declare the complaint false without proper investigation. We also highlighted the glaring discrepancies in the Post Mortem Report and the Action Taken Report submitted by the IO, which raise serious questions about the handling of the case and the initial dismissal of the father's complaint. The Ld. MM appeared convinced that the IO has not discharged his duties properly in this grave matter involving allegations of sexual assault on a minor and her subsequent death. We have done our utmost to present the facts and law before the Court. The Ld. MM has now reserved orders for 08.05.2026. Our deepest thanks to Sr. Adv. Makarand D. Adkar Ji (@AdkarMakarand) for his invaluable guidance & unwavering support in this matter. The result is now in the divine hands of Bhagwan Shri Krishna.
