Bought the 80th anniversary edition of Moomins and the Great Flood this morning. Foreword by Children's Lauriet Frank Cottrell Boyce, a cut out Moomin House that Tove drew and lots about the characters. Also £7.50 from every purchase goes to the British Red Cross.

Finished this gorgeous book last night. This was such a beautiful read which had me thinking about fog in a different way and also wanting to search out all the art work and stories mentioned in the book. Such a treasure of a book.

Picked up my copy of this beauty The Instrumentalist by @HConstable Can't wait to meet Anna Maria and hear her story.

Got this beauty this morning. Only Independent bookshops sell these beautiful editions with sprayed edges, end papers & signed by author. It' a novel based on the life of Anna Maria delta Pieta star student & muse of Vivaldi. She was written out of history & this is her story.

This is going to be my next read. Only just discovered it and will be picking up copy tomorrow.

110 years ago today, Tove Jansson was born in Helsinki, Finland. She knew from a young age that she wanted to dedicate her life to creating art. And now, we have the Moomins. 💛 Happy Moomin's Day!
