I just had the strangest dream. I was a secret agent charged with infiltrating a DARPA-like innovation firm. But once I got in, I just got really obsessed with the technical problem that the firm assigned me: to design a new EEG headset (a headset that reads the brain's electrical signals) I spent hours trying to account for electrode placement, how to minimize artifacts from muscle activation, and even the overall aesthetics I've never had a dream like that, where it's just my analytical-brain going off on an abstract problem. I even think some of the design ideas were pretty good

AI is... ? 1️⃣ math and algorithms, no awareness at all 2️⃣ it seems aware, even if it isn’t 3️⃣ conscious to some degree, like a small animal 4️⃣ a genuine, emerging awareness, even if it’s missing something compared to humans 5️⃣ as conscious as humans, just in a different form
