My problem is we are too obsessed with possession style of play, even Pep Guardiola is no more rigid with style of play and transition to transitional style of play. When Pep got Pepijn Lijnders as his assistant I don’t see any City fans coming online to do thread about how their players don’t fit to play transitional style of play. I remembered when Kompany was linked to Chelsea immediately after he relegated Burnley, there was an uproar and the fanbase almost melt down. Now, Kompany is one of the best manager in Europe. Again, is not about the manager but the players he is feed with. Chelsea appointing Andoni Iraola is not the problem but the signings. With this current players, Iraola will do nothing, even pep and klopp will do nothing
