SOMEONE JUST OPEN SOURCED THE MOST COMPLETE CLAUDE CODE SETUP I'VE EVER SEEN 27 agents, 64 skills, and 33 commands. all pre-configured and ready to go planning, code review, fixes, TDD, token optimization. basically everything you'd spend weeks setting up yourself already done for you. it comes with something called AgentShield built in. 1,282 security tests baked right into the config. so you're getting productivity AND guardrails too and it's not locked to one tool. works on Cursor, OpenCode, and Codex CLI. one repo and you're set up everywhere. free AND open source. use it wisely though. loading 27 agents and 64 skills into your context at once will burn through your limits fast. pick and choose what you actually need.

@aakashgupta the environmental cost of all that packaging still adds a layer of trade-off to the practicality

The answer is chemistry, law, and retail. In that order. Levonorgestrel breaks down on contact with moisture and air. The sealed blister pack isn't waste. It's the reason the pill still works at full potency when you take it six months after it was manufactured. A bottle would expose every dose to humidity each time it's opened. Then the FDA requires a minimum amount of drug information, warnings, and dosing instructions printed at readable font sizes. The legally mandated text footprint is bigger than the pill. The box has to be big enough for the words, not the medicine. And it has to hang on a pegboard hook in a pharmacy aisle next to boxes of Tylenol without getting lost or stolen. Three constraints. None optional. The plastic-to-pill ratio looks absurd until you understand what each layer is actually doing.

Nunca he entendido por qué se usa tanto plástico para una sola pastilla del día después

THIS GUY VIBE CODED A TOOL THAT TURNS ANY SVG INTO A 3D OBJECT YOU CAN SPIN, ANIMATE, AND EMBED drag in an SVG, type some text, or draw pixel art. it becomes a 3D object instantly. spin it around, animate it, and embed it on your site. export as 4K image or video. runs entirely in your browser and nothing gets uploaded to any server with no account needed. 100% free AND its open source. this is one of those tools you didn't know you needed until you see it

@JulianGoldieSEO ran into crazy costs with anthropic's api too until i switched to a local ollama setup with gemma

I almost paid another $50 this month for an AI coding tool I barely used. Then I found this setup, and cancelled the subscription the same day. Claude Code is Anthropic's terminal-based AI coder. It reads your codebase, writes real file changes, runs commands, and solves multi-step problems on its own. The catch? Using it through Anthropic's API gets expensive fast. But here's what most people don't know, Claude Code doesn't have to connect to Anthropic's servers at all. Ollama just added support for the same API format Claude Code uses. That means you can point it at a local model, Google's Gemma 4, and run the whole thing on your own machine. Free. Private. Offline. That's the setup that changed everything for me. Save this post, you'll thank yourself next billing cycle. Want the SOP? DM me. #AITools #ClaudeCode #FreeCoding

The most important thing for me when entering a project is that I’m staying no matter what happens. I’m extremely careful because I don’t want anyone using me or my boys as exit liquidity. If we go in, the captain is staying in. I’m coming out last. I don’t fucking care.

There’s a huge difference between posting a coin and later saying it did 100x, and actually posting it, sizing in, and riding it to the end. Every coin I posted and bought, I rode. 125x, 50x, 30x back to back, just in January. I trim at major milestones, keep bullets, and ride momentum further. I wanted to share wallets, but the community said no, so I won’t. I’m fine with pullbacks or even round trips if it means staying positioned for what comes next. Riding it builds the biggest confidence for me. I’m sharing this for everyone who wants to make it. This is doable. If I did it, you can too.

@votesa @nickshirleyy @zora Not new but still a mark. New ponzi game @Jaileddotfun from the devs of @addicteddotfun was build on the solana but the team has started own way from base. Co-founder said they got 0 support from base and developers will pick solana in comparison

Alright, I’m back from a New Year's long break and decided to put together a short recap of everything that’s happened in Base over the past month. → The launch of @nickshirleyy token on @zora. A creator coin backed by over 100 million views failed to push past a $9M market cap on its first run. → Massive hate toward Base and Zora on CT for not delivering a “100M runner for everyone.” Jesse and most of the Base team are on vacation, while Brian Armstrong is forced to hold the line solo. → A call between Brian Armstrong and @notthreadguy. An attempt to stabilize the narrative and show that lessons were learned. → @nikitabier teases a future $BASE market cap of $373B in an X update using smart hashtags. → Onchain & Base trenches are dead, while BNB and Solana see fresh runners. Chinese character tokens and a @TheWhiteWhaleV2 creator coin on PumpFun are hitting hundreds of millions in market cap. → Zora tweets that the $PSYOPANIME creator coin is up 651%. Shortly after, @psyopAnime says Zora “sucks,” deletes his profile, and the token predictably dumps. → @Solana posts memes featuring @zora, effectively teasing a ZORA listing on Solana. @js_horne promises “more to come.” → @neynarxyz acquires @farcaster_xyz. Dan Romero and Varun step away. A new chapter begins, though it’s still unclear whether this is a fresh start or the beginning of the end. → We are here. Did i miss something?

IMO it's classic overfarming behavior & points-driven wash trading, inflating volume numbers without sticky capital or signs of retention post-TGE. Volume is WRONGLY the benchmark metric in perps right now. If you want to find real activity, look at TVL trends, OI/volume ratio, and capital efficiency, just volume separately. Most perps DEXs are being farmed, not used.

I see a lot of takes about how decentralized social is dead, with the news about Farcaster but also Base, Lens, etc. I don’t agree. I think this wave was too early. Like, way early. I think we might see something succeed in this realm in 5-10 years, but first, we need to get people onboarded to stables and wallets, etc. I could see decentralized social taking off then simply because it actually does address real problems with social today. And it makes sense at some point that creators will figure out that they could make a lot more money under such a system. That time isn’t now. I do think that day will come, though.
@

Neynar is acquiring Farcaster. Over the next few weeks, we’ll transfer ownership of the protocol contracts and code repositories, the Farcaster app, and Clanker to Neynar. They will run and maintain everything going forward. Some members of the Merkle team, Varun, and I will

Farcaster is one of the more respectable wind-downs I've seen in crypto They: - ran a lean team with healthy burn throughout - took a contrarian bet on a huge market gap - built real decentralized tech What they didn't do: - Launch a useless token - Shill vaporware product - Run copypasta forks Any of these alternatives would've been drastically worse for users and community If crypto wants to stop getting rugged 24/7, you have to treat real builders different from vaporware scammers Would've been 1000x easier to just tokenize and coast, Farcaster actually chased PMF. That should be celebrated
