I’ve never visited Blackpool when it hasn’t been a stag-do, so in fact have never seen it sober (or with a hangover!) Never been to the illluninations, nor the tower or the Winter Gardens.

Such plans for today. Heading to Blackpool; airshow, lots to see with Rebellion going on, record shops, geek shops. Ice cream on the front … All abandoned ’cause we’d been driving for over an hour and had yet to get to Hanford roundabout!

Day 16 @ hospital: Sat to watch the ITV adaptation of Val McDermid’s cold case crime drama ‘Karen Pirie’ . What a treat to hear @ArabStrapBand ‘The Turning of Our Bones’ as its theme tune.

Returned from the bathroom to find my bfast waiting & today’s meals ordered. They took great delight in predicting what I like. Are they saying I’m a creature of habit, I guess we’ll see? 😬

Day 14 @ Hospital: Slept much better, exhaustion eventually overwhelmed, and they left me. I emerged from behind my curtains to see everyone washed, dressed, sat in their chair & eating breakfast!

Although not a particularly joyous watch when you’re in hospital & need cheering up, it’s true #Unforgivable
