Zcash is making its most crucial components private against quantum adversaries, using cryptography that we previously hadn't dreamed of shipping in a cryptocurrency. In parallel, almost a year of design in quantum recoverability is about to pay off in our next wallet upgrades.

Do you remember when people were promoting zcash at $700? I remember some guy posted that he bought 2 ZEC at the very top (anybody have the screenshot?) People were telling me I'm a scammer and a grifter for NOT promoting zcash And now it's down 70% from the top 😭😭

People - I’m going to say it again. You need a 10 year plan and you need to start it today. There will be a bigger print than COVID. You need to accumulate hard assets, ones that cannot be seized or taxed via seizure by the governments. Anything with a counterparty is at risk. 2026-2032 is the last chance to buy. Start today. Will there be lower prices? Maybe, but over the course of this wealth and power transition to a bipolar world it will not matter. Do not gamble. Buy and store in self custody.

@GoodTexture There are levels to privacy. Even through android or iOS app, it’s still magnitude's more private than bitcoin which is enough for most people’s needs. There’s always desktop wallets if you need higher level privacy.

zec is going into the thousands just like bitcoin did. nobody cares that using zcash on an iphone or android may not actually be private at all

continue to believe that zcash is the last possible 1000x in crypto. gov overreach, money printing, rise in socialism, quantum. all massive multi-decade tailwinds. as with btc, don’t trade it. accumulate during periods of apathy and hold it for 10-20yrs.

Irreversible transactions are not going to be part of the future of finance It's astounding that crypto people haven't grasped this yet
Stani@StaniKulechov

Earlier today, a user attempted to buy AAVE using $50M USDT through the Aave interface. Given the unusually large size of the single order, the Aave interface, like most trading interfaces, warned the user about extraordinary slippage and required confirmation via a checkbox. The user confirmed the warning on their mobile device and proceeded with the swap, accepting the high slippage, which ultimately resulted in receiving only 324 AAVE in return. The transaction could not be moved forward without the user explicitly accepting the risk through the confirmation checkbox. The CoW Swap routers functioned as intended, and the integration followed standard industry practices. However, while the user was able to proceed with the swap, the final outcome was clearly far from optimal. Events like this do occur in DeFi, but the scale of this transaction was significantly larger than what is typically seen in the space. We sympathize with the user and will try to make a contact with the user and we will return $600K in fees collected from the transaction. The key takeaway is that while DeFi should remain open and permissionless, allowing users to perform transactions freely, there are additional guardrails the industry can build to better protect users. Our team will be investigating ways to improve these safeguards going forward.

When we built Foundry USA Pool, the goal was simple: give institutional miners infrastructure they could rely on. Today we're extending that same commitment to Zcash. Zcash represents something important, the idea that financial privacy is foundational to economic freedom. That's a vision worth building serious infrastructure around. Foundry's Zcash Mining Pool launches April 2026. businesswire.com/news/home/2026…

Zcash $ZEC has matured into an institutional-grade asset, and the mining infrastructure should match. Today we announced Foundry's Zcash Mining Pool, launching April 2026. Compliance-first, institutional-grade infrastructure built by the team behind the world's #1 Bitcoin mining pool, coming to one of the most important privacy-preserving networks in the industry. 🔗Read the full press release here: businesswire.com/news/home/2026…

@nntaleb "smarter than bitcoin"? Really? Could you please elaborate on that since 'private currency' has a far more limited usage than 'public currencies' & carries with it different risks? Is it based on blockchain or not? Does it factor in triple entry accounting, or not? That's key.
