This was my assignment as a backend and infra engineer at a startup based in Singapore
the main goal was to implement a system that accepts a stream of events (here HTTP) and filters out duplicate events which were identified as a composite key
we discussed around the system architecture got into few problems while building and also explained how did I solved it like for example
tech stack : go, redis, psql, prometheus and grafana with html and tailwindcss done with claude
>Prometheus dashboard was not showing the accurate graphs ... prometheus.yml scrapes app:8080 but Prometheus runs in Docker while the Go app runs on localhost ... the answer was simple it should be using host.docker.internal:8080

This has literally _zero_ performance wins. In fact removing bus mitigation is actively harmful because x86 bus locks make the system crawl to a halt.
Catching these are done by the hardware and CachyOS removes the Linux exception handler that will handle the exception. Horrible
