Was just musing that Universal Serial Bus 2 is about the only thing that any of us can remember that reflects compromises and some general agreement.

@Peter_Fitz Her productivity is clearly an outcome of her prodigiousness?

As I say, I accept I am probably wrong. But to my ears, eyes, and guts, if I am talking of a writer and say "She is prodigious," it means she is seriously productive. So to say "She is prodigiously productive, " feels tautological.
Paul Kneeshaw@Stick_Beetle

@Peter_Fitz You can be both productive and prodigiously productive surely.

@IndoPilot There must have been large amounts of it going cheap after the war here in Australia. The fences in the sheep yards on our farm in North West NSW Australia were made using these interlocking pieces.

Ever heard of a Marston Mat runway? Also know as PSP (pierced steel planking), this clever interlocking system was devised just before WWII for rapid construction of runways in remote locations. So cool to get to land on one still in use here in Papua 🌴✈️

@Peter_Fitz This was a great idea @Peter_Fitz Thanks! It sets the night up well, as the house lights dim slowly and the nervous rattle of chip packets being eviscerated subsides, we gain a sense of how the body politic is feeling :-)

Ok, VOTING well underway. As today goes on, let's go #AroundTheGrounds. Give us a report on what you saw at your booth, what's the vibe? My local booth remarkably light traffic. Feels like most have voted - and I suspect for Zali Steggall, but we'll see. #auspol25

@hammerofleft Well, if nothing else, it demonstrates the danger of an all or nothing phonics approach to the teaching on reading;

Here's Thorpe bragging about her failing to take the oath of office correctly. She was not sworn in correctly and is an illegitimate senator. The HIgh Court needs to rule on this.

@elonmusk So, does the concept of fairness and consistency with agreed principles not stand across spiritual dimensions as a way for all human civilisations to operate? Why are you prioritising Christianity? Fair and right seems to be a common theme across lots of religions:

@Arwenstar To all of the outraged on this thread. Liberte is one of the key tenets of outcome of the Revolution. They gave the US a statue to clearly state the prominence of the ideal. Here's what 'Liberty' is about. Ring some bells? Declaration & later Constitution?

As a French woman I am deeply embarrassed by this #OpeningCeremony and would like to apologise to the entire world for subjecting you all to this sick farce. Don’t hate us, it isn’t us, it’s the woke metropolitan elite - they ruin fucking everything 🤷🏻‍♀️

@dom_lucre Sounds to me like there'll soon be a go-fund me campaign to send the Statue of Liberty back! - umm the bloodiness of the work of Monsieur Guillotine is well recognised. It was his woke way of wanting an equitable method of despatch for all classes of people: even Marie Antoinette

🔥🚨HAPPENING NOW: The 2024 World Olympics in Paris is is receiving an extensive amount of backlash for their opening ceremony. They first had a woman depicted with decapitated head singing, the they had ‘obese’ women and drag queens recreate the paining “Jesus Last Supper.” And now they have a man dressed in all blue hysterically performing for the masses. They do this every 4 years just to call you a conspiracy theorists for having questions.
