Jeffrey Kessler, Brendan Sorsby’s attorney, has also sent a letter to the Big 12. Comes in the wake of Texas AG letter. "A boycott of Texas Tech or of Mr. Sorsby would be a per se violation of antitrust laws and expose the Big 12 and each of its boycotting members to substantial liability. There is no defense to a per se unlawful boycott of this type, and Mr. Sorsby will hold the Big 12 and its members fully accountable for their actions." on3.com/news/big-12-th…

The office of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sent a letter to the Big 12 on behalf of Texas Tech and obtained by @TheAthletic. It states that any sanctions against Texas Tech over the Brendan Sorsby situation would be treated as "unlawful" and would lead to legal action.

"Effective immediately, no new contests should be scheduled against Texas Tech without prior approval from the athletic department," Georgia AD to staff, per @PeteThamel and @max_olson. espn.com/college-footba…

Texas Tech declared Brendan Sorsby immediately ineligible & got him into rehab when notified of his gambling. What did Cincinnati do when they became aware of Brendan Sorsby’s gambling activity? Cincinnati played Brendan Sorsby for two full seasons. espn.com/college-footba…
