New record, as expected: 123 of the 2026 NFL Draft picks transferred during their college careers. That’s 48% of all draft picks. The total has jumped from 82 to 123 in 2 years. Texas Tech (8) and Indiana (7) led the way this year in most transfers drafted.

Through three rounds, 47 of the top 100 players selected in this year's NFL Draft transferred during their college careers. By my count, 23 players who've been drafted so far were available in the portal last offseason. Texas Tech currently leading with 5 transfers drafted.

Missouri State basketball player Michael Osei-Bonsu has entered the NCAA transfer portal and plans to play football next year, he told ESPN. Osei-Bonsu is 6-4, 289 pounds and has a 35-inch vertical.
