@ostrisai do you have an idea of the VRAM requirements to train? it seems like hidream full is too big and lodream could have more potential for consumer hardware

Pruning experiment on HiDream. I merged the 4 experts to 1 (Step 0) and I am training just those experts now. Went from 17B to 9.4B params. Burning too much money on cloud compute to sustain it much longer, but it seems to be working. Will let it burn another day or two.

According to the Llama license (Section 1.b.i). "Hidream" has to be called "Llama Hidream". Also, any LoRA you train on it has to be called Llama<MyLoraName> and so on. Restrictive licenses like this are literal poison to everything they touch.
