@KattarDiplomat Not necessarily Sindhu. Indu means Lunar. India has followed Luni-Solar calendar, Rama is from Lunar lineage. King Bharata is also from Lunar lineage. Ancient texts have also said India name is derived from the intellect which is like Lunar radiance.

The name India was not Invented by the British. The root is Sanskrit Word Sindhu (Indus). Persians turned it into Hindu, Greeks into Indos ~India. Greek historians like Herodotus (5th BCE) and Megasthenes (3rd BCE) already used India centuries before Britain was even on the map.

I was indeed referring to the Oct 2021 rpt (the figs provided above are sourced from there) & didn't realise that the Apr 2022 rpt was out (where India's GDP per capita was increased). Btw, the Apr rpt puts 2020, 2022, 2023 GDP per capita for BGD > IND

Has anyone ever managed Passport police verification without shelling out some money to cops? Is it even possible? Just so frustrating. Everything in order still they'll find something or the other to block your process making that 'bribeme' face. Absolutely infuriating.
