UPDATE: The trial of suspected murderer Christopher Okello Onyum has resumed after a brief adjournment, with two of the eight prosecution witnesses having so far testified.
Presiding judge Justice Alice Komuhangi Khauka ruled on two defence objections, admitting a receipt and corresponding record book as evidence after finding them consistent, but rejecting a mobile money transaction statement on grounds that it was not presented by a competent witness.
Earlier, the coordinator of Ggaba Early Childhood Development Centre told the court she had printed the transaction statement herself. The court also barred the media from photographing the third witness.
