@rfvrk@BrisFrog@MikeACurtis2 38% from three on a Mavs team that had almost no spacing and was in last place in three point shooting this season. Klay’s still a sharpshooter.
Klay Thompson was asked if he anticipates being in Dallas next season.
“That’s a hard hitter. I’m not sure. I’m under contract so I do, but I’ve definitely learned in my time in Dallas that things can change on a dime.”
@BrisFrog@MikeACurtis2 Both still good players. Klay wants to play with Luka and Luka needs a sharpshooter and on top of that Lakers add another wing in Caleb.
@MrKP90210@PolymarketHoops There offense is definitely questionable I don’t know how reed is gonna play an if their young core can adapt to playoff play Sengun is their X factor and if the lakers can stop him anything is possible
@PolymarketHoops Gonna call this now. Not sure if Houston makes it out of this one. A few reasons why.
1. They will not allow kd to play 1v1. Trap & send 2 at the ball. Boxes & elbows at all times (dont forget I said this)
2. Ime gets out coached by JJ
3. Rockets have no identity offensively
@Splashman2k2 He just had a super good stretch where he was shooting like super efficient but it was obvious that it wasn’t sustainable and now everyone thinks he’s a 27 ppg scorer when he’s closer to a 20 ppg scorer
podz pr is so bad man, he's not even terrible, he helps teams in terms of the possession game, is a decent connector, hustles, and can shoot decently. how is that a terrible NBA player?
During this tenure with Luka & Reaves out and LeBron maximizing his abilities during this span. He’ll slowly realize this was taken away from him. I don’t think he stays next season
@Splashman2k2 Austin was so good to start the season but it seems like he struggles against physicality and is super overrated right now because he is supposedly averaging like 25 but I really just don’t think he’s that good I prefer lebron over reaves right now. Podz is a solid defender tbf
@rfvrk woah, idk if I can go there yet. podz can play his role better than Austin does sure, but Austin can legit create his own shot consistently, which is more important than anything Podz does.
@CJ_JunesMani@bluegreen818@SleeperLakers It’s still an important game for the thunder they pretty much clinched the 1st seed but a win tomorrow secures it for good. Regardless lakers have dam near 0 perimeter shooting nor the size and speed to deal with okc. Gonna be a fat blowout lebron isn’t Superman
@rfvrk@bluegreen818@SleeperLakers Thunder might play down to their opponent. Also we played OKC the wrong way. You don’t beat them from the perimeter like Luka and AR tried to do. You do it from the post and rely on the bigs (Bron, Hayes and Ayton) all need to be prioritized against them
With only 4 games remaining, it’s important the Lakers find ways to finish and hold on to the 3 seed.
The good news: LA is 50-28, tied with Denver, 1 game up on Houston, and currently owns the tiebreaker edge over both.
The simple math:
4-0: clinch the 3 seed
3-1: likely enough, unless Denver goes 4-0
2-2: gets dangerous
1-3 or worse = screwed
With no Luka and no Reaves, every game matters even more. The Lakers don’t have much room for error now.
Can they finish strong enough to keep the 3 seed?

@bluegreen818@SleeperLakers That game is obviously a loss. U saw how bad Okc demolished lakers with ar and luka. Best hopes is get LeBron ready for the last 3 those are all winable if he’s locked in. Denver likely losses to okc or spurs
