“A few days ago, Joel Webbon sat down with a guest at NXR who holds what are commonly called J-Pilled views, meaning the guest has concluded that Jewish political, financial, and cultural influence in the West is a serious and largely unaddressed problem. In other words, he holds the same views as Charlie Kirk did, at least two weeks before his assassination (the point is, that’s hardly controversial in 2026). During that conversation, the guest resisted the characterization of Jesus as a Jew. Webbon, navigating a live conversation with a man he was trying to reach, didn’t appear eager to die on that particular hill. Webbon acknowledged some complexity, kept the conversation moving, and let it go. Within hours, the usual suspects in the Dispensational Zionist wing of Reformed and conservative evangelical circles had their knives out, charging that Webbon had compromised on the Jewish identity of Christ and was therefore theologically suspect. Or to quote Tom Buck… ‘This is a massive theological error by Joel Webbon as a Christian pastor. His disdain for Jews has reached a new height!’”
