Drake’s lawsuit is the best move he could’ve made and has clear goals which above all, is proving in court how the opposition ran a coordinated scheme to devalue his brand during negotiations yet standing by his diss tracks. The pedophile smear didn’t stick mainly because Drake sued and forced UMG and others to stop amplifying the lie. Without the lawsuit, once the statute of limitations passed, that accusation would’ve haunted him forever with people asking, “If it’s not true, why didn’t he sue?”(shoutout @OVODocket on this part) Drake has every right to fight back this way. That’s exactly how corporate beefs get settled. Drake has generated massive money for a lot of people, and it’s disgusting what his own label allegedly tried to pull. Since he’s not chasing cash, it’s clear he wants ownership and public accountability for the damage done to his name.

@rushellwhite It's ways to get around that, and Drake didn't sue him so that part won't matter..after hearing Cole talk and all the other little stuff coming out the battle they gonna peace it up in a couple years..Drake can't carry that energy for a long time and Kendrick is a nice guy too
