The takeaway from Taylor Swift is that you can all at once be authentic artistically, supportive of fellow artists, legitimately connected to your fans, and incredibly successful. If you’re reducing her to mastering the “chart game,” you’re paying too much attention to corny online rants and not enough to reality.

I’m sorry but Taylor has the stats, the awards, the acclaim, the impact, the respect and the fanbase when it comes down to it. Your faves have some of these which is why they’re so bitter and jealous of her.

Why these artists haven’t learned that Swifties are a VERY passionate and massive fan base is beyond me. Why would you want to make enemies out of a fan base that is employed enough to sell out 152 stadiums and buy 4 million copies without even hearing the album.
