Then v Now. Left pic: 2010, 22 years old, 92kg, 6’2” Full body (bodyweight) circuit training 4 x per week, and football 2 x per week. Right pic: 2025, 37 years old, 99kg, (obviously still) 6’2” 6 months after the 2010 pic, I had knee surgery, had to quit football on the advice of 3 specialists, and blew up to 130kg. Picked up weights, then Muay Thai, and never looked back. Even got back to football 2 years ago. Recovery at my age is like a religion: (a lot of) vitamins, mineral water, coconut water, good food, sauna- and most importantly; consistency.
