Uber is trying to pass a law this year in California misleading titled “Protecting Automobile Accident Victims from Attorney Self Dealing Act.”
The end result would in effect make it impossible for almost anyone in California to get an attorney for a car crash in California, and Uber and insurance companies would profit billions.

Close to immortality but didn't close for another ring.
Two firsts and a second in a week is still impressive though.
I had a nice chip lead heads up in stud 8 with a made flush and 7 low draw vs only a 6 low draw.
They rivered a low on seventh and then we played heads up for over two hours for the ring.
If I faded that hand, it woulda been three rings in a week!

My son, Saxon, is so based that he would just order milk when we went to dinner in LA. This would always stun the waitstaff, as they had never heard anyone actually order milk! He also unironically ordered a cheeseburger at a very uptight sushi restaurant that doesn’t even allow you to order supplemental soy sauce. When the waiter recovered from this request to reply that they don’t have cheeseburgers, Saxon said “Fine, I will have a hamburger.”

Yes! Not only is this wildlife bridge a massive waste of money, it's ruining a natural firebreak.

City of LA basically won’t fix sidewalks or potholes until they are complained about multiple times. They’d rather pay off the lawsuits than have an active sidewalk/street repair system, then they cry when they use up their litigation budget for the year in 3 months. Horribly ran city.
