Another great article by @0xSmitty. He’s right that there are plenty of chains out there actively competing for users, and @megaeth’s incentive program starting in a few weeks is just one example. The competition for attention, liquidity, and actual users is real. As the dev behind @avaxbingo, it was honestly disappointing to see only 184 total cards minted, with 20% of those coming from just a handful of users, especially when minting was effectively free for most people since over 50% of the cards paid users back just for minting. At some point, AVAX has to decide whether it actually wants to support and retain real users. Because if it doesn’t, there are plenty of other chains that will be more than happy to.
