A few updates from today at @Polymarket : - We're putting the finishing touches on the Deposit Wallet release to fix the ghost fills issue. It launches tomorrow, May 4th at 12:30 UTC, with up to 30 min of maintenance downtime. - Remaining liquidity rewards from migration day (April 28th) have been allocated. Participants should see them on the rewards page. They will distribute at 12am UTC as usual. - Rewards weren't accruing for ~40 minutes earlier today while the system processed past rewards and recalculated new ones. That's now fixed and live liquidity rewards are accruing normally. - The team is aware of an increase in "not enough balance/allowance" errors and is working on a fix. - We're working on a patch for users seeing PnL issues after converting or merging shares. Expected to ship around Wednesday.

Waiting for a launch window is reasonable. I don't know any of the 3 projects you are referring to, but good luck. I feel like it is good to post about things you are working on if you want them to gain traction, even if you plan to wait to launch or never launch at all.. kind of like a stream of consciousness. Nobs does this well imo, maybe a style choice idk

Not much to say right now. We need to wait for a better launch window. Also worth clarifying, no one receives grant funds without launching and hitting milestones. It’s easy to criticize builders for delaying, but the real gut punch is spending months building, launching, and seeing only a handful of users.

Simple fix for the @Polymarket ghost-fill exploit. Quarantine the pUSD tied to the exploit. Maybe even the entire account balance. There are only a handful of these users. A game of whack a mole. If off-chain order state and on-chain settlement don’t match, freeze redemption/unwraps until the discrepancy is resolved. If orders were maliciously canceled in the final seconds to gain an edge, honor the valid fills and make legitimate users whole. Even if pUSD can’t be frozen directly today, redemption can be restricted through the wrapper/vault layer or added via upgrade. This exploit would disappear fast.

@PolyPup @Polymarket Failed orders are brutal because they don’t just fail the trade, they corrupt the strategy state unless you reconcile aggressively. Pre-V2, was your biggest pain stale nonces, partial fills, or order-not-found races?

Excited for Monday’s big @Polymarket upgrade. Failed orders have been a real headache for my bots over the past few months, so getting that cleaned up would be huge. Since the CLOB V2 upgrade earlier this week, trading and performance have been fantastic. Looking forward to the new chain and even better performance ahead.
