Hater is a strong word. I am a slurm naysayer -- I think it's an outdated piece of infrastructure, and the industry has come a long way since 2002, when it was first released. There's good to it around its simplicity, maintaining it is painful, and it opens up the door to a lot of anti-patterns.

I hope Nvidia bought Slurm just to kill it!
