@GohansMom That's a fine way to handle it! Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. No worries mama ☺

@momsense_ensues Yes! Win! For kiddo's 11th we gave her a Hogwarts letter and sorting house cupcakes with surprise m&ms of house colors in the middle.

At school today 2 kept telling everyone he was a wizard and picked up a stick outside for his wand.
Nerd mom for the win!

@ICantEven01 *squee* I love all the kids in their prom finery. Only sad because he will probably look better than me 😎

I am watching my son try on prom dresses. Yes, my life is a reality tv show! #draglife

@TiredMamaTalkin Yeah... When 12 was 2 we hit a hard patch. Wasn't single, but was homeless. It's super awkward at times.

@Cynical_Parent No win in this situation. No matter what you say, it's going to be repeated to every stranger for weeks.

@Erinbabysteps I agree completely 💜 and it gets harder as your follows get higher because there are so many wonderful people. I'm not even a huge acct and it feels overwhelming sometimes. Major props to those who keep it loving as a big acct. And hugs to all the little ones!

@HeartfeltMomma I regularly see home school fams use shopping as learning experiences. Especially Fridays- because payday. There are 2-3 fams I see like clockwork if I shop on Fridays. Not that it's any of Karen's business.

@motherlyqueer Good for him understanding his boundaries! I feel that way a lot, especially recently.

@Caroline_315 Talked to 12's dad earlier (guy bff), and he was chillin at a bar. I'm like, I'm glad that helps you unwind after a long week, but I'd rather curl up at home lol.

@SahmAccidental Could also try a focus object- like have them look at a light/toy/etc, and drop it distracted. Also if they look left or right so they don't feel it come directly in.
English

@SahmAccidental Have them lay down- that makes it a million times easier. But actually getting it in? If you can maneuver, rather than just drop it in, gently pull the lower lid and put it there, then have them blink without wiping. Its easier than forcing eye open.

@ThisNurseK I mean, it's now standard to get a whooping cough booster as an adult when it never used to be. We know it's possible these things weaken over time.
