Tony Pham… QuickBandit. @TonyQuickBandit
I don’t even know where to start, so I’ll start where my day actually begins lately: 2:30am HVAC starts, running on fumes, grabbing naps like they’re rare Pokémon. I wake up from one of those naps and see a message from Tony asking me about the new QuickBandit 3 w/ front camera.
That hit different… because months ago I messaged him about it and he told me it was in the works. And I was that guy refusing to slap 3M tape on my paint. I “rode dirty” in California until I found this invention—because I wanted something that matched what I love about Tesla: clean, simple, smart. We also have it on our Model Y Juniper! I refused to use anything else.
Fast forward to February 2nd… we message, and meet the same day.
I’m not even gonna pretend I was cool. I was straight up fan-boying. 😅
But Tony? Tony was just… real. Kind. Calm. Super easy to vibe with. The kind of person you meet and it feels like your souls already had a handshake from a past life. We clicked naturally.
We tested the setup and there was a small deficiency—and that’s when I really saw it: the passion. You could literally watch his brain shift into “builder mode.” No excuses, no ego—just obsession in the best way: “Okay… I know what to fix.” That moment told me everything about him.
And I’m not gonna lie… I’m genuinely proud that I got to be the first for this front plate setup before it’s even released. That’s an honor I don’t take lightly.
But here’s the part that really got me—Tony asked me what I wanted for a custom plate.
And immediately my mind went to my son… because he’s so into cars right now. If you know, you know: Trash Truck on Netflix is basically a celebrity in our house. 😄
Tony took that idea—something that lives in my kid’s world—and turned it into something so nice and clean it honestly stopped me for a second. Like… that wasn’t just a cool custom plate. That was Tony taking a little piece of my family and making it real. Something I can look at on the car and think of my boy every time I walk up to it.
I went home and told my wife like I was a kid who just got his license. Proud. Excited. Like I’d met someone who actually cares about what they put into the world.
Then Tony texts me right away: “Let’s meet Friday.”
We picked a time and a Supercharger spot.
My wife before I leave: “If Tony pulls any free funny business, don’t let him.” 😂
And of course… Tony refuses to let me pay. Over and over. I tried.
And that’s the part people might miss:
It wasn’t about it being “free.”
It was about a man who built something, then drove miles to meet me, test it, improve it, and make sure it’s right—because this isn’t just a product to him. It’s a piece of him. His standard. His name on it.
That says everything about Tony’s character.
So here’s my way of paying it forward since Tony wouldn’t take my money: I’m buying a Model 3 front camera QuickBandit and I’m going to GIVE IT AWAY to help support Tony and put more people onto what he’s built.
You’re going to love this product. Stay on the lookout — I’ll keep everyone posted on the giveaway details.
So Tony… from the bottom of my heart—thank you.
Thank you for your time. Your kindness. Your integrity. Your relentless drive to perfect what you create. Thank you for turning a frustrating problem into something elegant that actually belongs on a Tesla.
My wife and I appreciate you more than you know—and I’ll say it loud every time someone asks:
QuickBandit or nothing. Front plate solved. ✅
And beyond the product… thank you for the new friendship, and for reminding me (and our community) that there are still genuinely good, loving people out here building great things—for the right reasons. 🤝🖤
