There is a show everyone is loving that I can’t stand. It’s awful and insufferable. I don’t get it…I just don’t get it. I feel like I’m losing my mind. Not naming the show in solidarity with the writers on strike.

@estarLA I get this all the time and ONCE someone followed up with a thank you text, sharing how much they loved it. Out of dozens of asks. (Now I simply add them to one of my saved folders on Instagram where I have restaurants grouped by location. They can scroll thru & figure it out.)

the thing about being a food person is that you get both a ton of unsolicited restaurant recommendations from people you either don't trust or never hear from otherwise AND expected to just dole out advice on where to go on their trip like you're their personal concierge
