...but telling me "most trans fems would prefer to be hairless" is not actually an argument for these images not to exist. There are closeted trans women who can't transition at all and I know for a fact some feel seen in images of fems who haven't changed all their traits...

I saw a trans man's post incensed over seeing trans dudes drawn with big butts in booty shorts in response to the "trans woman beard" thing and it reminded me exactly why this whole discourse makes me so immensely angry. Not everyone has the ability to transition...

@pandemoniminium I'm meaner on internet than in real life as well. I will say most of what I say here, unsurprisingly, I wouldn't say in real life. I don't say this on my mean post, but I know I can be wrong on what I'm saying here, so I'm not really angry at people

@pandemoniminium Yeah, I do. I am part of a support group, and I provide support, guidance and kinda illegally HRT to young trans women in need. I'm very unhappy when those young trans women in need are told to just accept their bodies and it's valid to have a beard when they seek help to change

Butch trans women don't look like that, even trans women with beard don't look like that, it really looks like a malicious way to depict a trans woman and none of us feel seen in this rep

as a GNC trans person i am very tired of depictions of “GNC trans people” that actually just mean “clocky”. gender nonconformity is about how you choose to present yourself, not naturally occurring traits you don’t control.
