real talk guys Same was my case, skipped multiple things in college multiple times just because I didn't have money and I didn't want to ask my parents for anything extra as they were already spending a lot on my education in a pvt college. Never went for a single party in college, never had proper fun in college fest because there was always this stress of doing something in life. Skipped my college freshers because I didn't have money and just solved codechef that day ( I remember this clearly & won't forget this for a long time ), never went for a single concert while my entire friend group went out, and I mean I was the only single one who didn't go that time. Liked a girl in college first semester but because I didn't have any money never talked to her and just lost feelings over time. Just focused on what was important for me at that time and grinded my ass off, waking up every single day at 5 am in the morning to to dsa, and then coming back from college studying, building projects was all my life for 2nd and 3rd year. And now looking back at it, it was all worth it. Now the ability to even spend 20-25k on things I like doesn't feel like a burden to me, ordering food doesnt feel like a burden anymore and enjoying doesn't feel like burden anymore. And basically this is the only reason I don't connect with anyone from college anymore, I was always too busy on myself, for myself that everything felt like unnecessary to me. Even now, I have goals soo big and I one thing I am sure is I'll grind my ass off for those things, even if I fail I'm sure I'll achieve a lot and that's enough for me.

I want to talk about something here. this is for everyone who's in college right now and who is genuinely working hard sacrificing a lot of stuff, be it trips or parties. I didn't go on a single trip in my college. No outings, didn't even attend my own college fest. Let alone attend a concert, coz I didn't have the money + my consciousness didn't let me, I knew I'm missing out on things but there were bigger things to focus on at that time. And see now, I'm still in my college, doing trips, meeting with friends, exploring delhi, attending concerts ( kanye ne kat diya wo baat alag hai ). my first flight, my first trip outside, my first concert. I can do all of them now by my own money :) So yea no regrets So if you ever feel you are missing out on sometime, just know it's about time, keep working hard for your goals. also this in no way means don't enjoy college life, do as much as u want if you can afford to :) cheers 🥂

I casually asked my tour car driver, “Bhai, how much do you earn from this?” He smiled and said, “₹3–4K per round… I do 2 every day.” I paused for a second. That’s ₹6–8K a day. ₹1.8L–₹2.4L a month. And he said it like it was nothing. Meanwhile, I know people with degrees, working 9–5, struggling at ₹25K/month. That moment made me realize something: It’s not always about working harder. Sometimes, it’s about choosing the right game.
