Venom is one of those comic things that casuals absolutely adore and hardcore fans only like some aspects of it or some specific stories

@BatmanRouges Venom(Eddie Brock) is my FAVORITE Marvel character. In my opinion, his only adaptation that adapted him perfectly was Midnight Suns. There are some other good ones, like TAS, but there's WAY more awful ones. Casuals love the idea of Venom having LESS depth for some reason.

@BatmanRouges He’s basically the precursor to a lot of derivative characters and milking characters to exhausting levels of mid. Venom is also a clear departure from Spideys typical rogues gallery at that point. They were basically made with more upgrades as Spidey himself just “darker”
