@clashreport 🚨🇮🇷🇮🇱 Power stations in Haifa, Israel are currently burning down after heavy Iranian strikes
English

The Prime Minister of Qatar just said in public what every Gulf leader has been saying in private since Day 1.
“Everyone knows who the main beneficiary is.”
He did not say Israel. He did not need to. Every diplomat, every analyst, every intelligence official in the region knows exactly what that sentence means and who it points to. The Qatari Prime Minister is standing in front of cameras saying the quiet part out loud because his country just lost seventeen percent of its LNG production capacity for the next five years and his capital has been under missile fire twice in twelve hours.
The phrase “aggression needs to stop” is also pointed in a specific direction. Qatar is not calling for mutual de-escalation between equals. It is identifying an aggressor. In the context of a statement that also identifies a main beneficiary, the political content of that sentence is unambiguous even without naming names.
This is the complete collapse of the diplomatic fiction that Gulf states are neutral bystanders being caught in crossfire between Iran and the US-Israel coalition. Qatar has now joined Oman’s foreign minister in issuing a public verdict on this war. The man who tried to prevent it called it America’s greatest miscalculation. The man whose country is hosting the air campaign that caused it is now calling for it to stop immediately and pointing at who benefits.
The operational pressure on Washington from this statement is more acute than anything Iran has fired in twenty days. Iran’s missiles can be intercepted. A host nation publicly withdrawing political support for a military campaign conducted from its soil is a different category of problem entirely.
Al Udeid’s continued availability is now a live question in a way it was not twenty four hours ago.

@clashreport Iranian leadership in chaos + Bessent hinting at unsanctioning Iranian oil.
If both land together, oil drops $20 in hours.
That’s the entire Fed calculus flipping in one session.
English

@clashreport Am i the only one that thought the guy on the right had a cone hat?
English

@clashreport The Arabs need to get together and stop Israel. Rather than helping Israel and providing air space to them.
English

@clashreport @grok Who is really benefiting from this conflict, and why is the region being pushed toward wider instability?
English

@clashreport @suhasinih For a second I thought Gandalf the White was representing Qatar at this press conference.

English

@clashreport Qatar is just paying for what it did for a long time - terrorists have no real relations

English

Support for the United States and Israel should be stopped immediately.
Facilitating the United States and Israel should be stopped immediately.
Allowing the United States and Israel to use your land should be stopped immediately.
Allowing the United States and Israel to use your airspace should be stopped immediately.
English

@clashreport When leaders speak about peace, the real question is who is actually ready to act on it.
English

@clashreport Is it just me or does the Prince seem to be wearing a KKK hat?
English

@clashreport “However, while claiming to be a U.S. ally, Qatar has undermined American policy on Iran through Doha’s ties to the Islamic Republic, support for Islamist terrorist groups like Hamas, and an adversarial approach to U.S. allies in the Gulf.”

@clashreport Gulf states acting like innocent bystanders while serving as forward operating bases is geopolitical comedy.
You’re not caught in the crossfire, you are the crossfire.
English

@clashreport Direct and clear leadership from Doha.
The cycle of aggression has to break. Dragging the whole region into a wider conflict helps no one but the merchants of war
English

@clashreport The cameraman should be in hiding.
The unfortunate positioning of the flag will distract from how important what he said was.
He didn't have the courage to say Israel however it's clear their money is now being molested too much by Trump and they've had enough.
English

@clashreport When leaders start saying ‘everyone knows who benefits, it’s less diplomacy and more a warning shot. The war isn’t just destroying lives, it’s reshaping alliances across the region.
English

@clashreport Qatar’s Prime Minister:
This war needs to stop immediately.
The aggression needs to stop immediately.
Because everyone knows who the main beneficiary of this war is, and dragging the whole region into this conflict is.

English

@clashreport @tparsi So if Qatar knows who is the main beneficiary of this war , then of course is Nazionistan …., why then they keep hosting USA military bases in their soil ,? Those military USA bases are proxy Israel military bases.
English

Support for the United States and Israel should be stopped immediately.
Facilitating the United States and Israel should be stopped immediately.
Allowing the United States and Israel to use our land should be stopped immediately.
Allowing the United States and Israel to use our airspace should be stopped immediately.
English

@clashreport Oooh man I thought this was a conference with the grand wizard😂😂
English

@clashreport Yea because the resources are getting hit is not only belongs to Middle East but it’s also a life line of many like an oxygen so when talks on table can go well then why this mess…
Peace is the key
English

@clashreport The kick the US bases out, and reconsider the sole alliance with the US given its betrayal. Now, the GCC has a legitimate chance at this. It could be more pragmatic in its relations with the US, China & Russia, without becoming mistresses to any one power like they are now.
English

@clashreport I wonder why i have the feeling of this war as I am watching soap opera. Shifts up & down, left & right classic story telling w/ main characters & their struggles. One constant: unfolding twrds. oil/gas infrastructure destruction and long-term price increase. Guess who benefits?
