It was a pleasure to attend and participate in a transformative Game Development workshop, held in Muscat, Oman, organized by @Omantel and @brincvc, alongside @unity. This occasion offered a platform for individuals to engage in an immersive exploration of game creation using the Unity platform and @3_IXAM software, drawing together a diverse assembly of developers and 3D design enthusiasts, from around the GCC region. The event had a great turnout with an extremely high 95% attendance rate, a testament to the event's significance. Thank you to the organizers, hosts, and enthusiastic attendees who had a myriad of eager questions at the end of each day at the event. Omanis really are game! Tips for working with textures in 3IXAM software: use displacement maps for depth, try procedural textures for an organic look, use roughness and specular maps for realism, and consider using normal maps to add surface details without increasing the polygon count.
