CONFIRMED. MULTIPLE GSW'S FROM A RIFLE. ONE SUPSECT IN CUSTODY

ACTIVE SHOOTER AT WESTGATE TOWN CENTER HOME OF THE ARIZONA CARDINALS STATE FARM STADIUM AND PHOENIX COYOTES HOCKEY TEAM. MULTIPLE VICTIMS WITH A RIFLE

Firefighters were dispatched to South Mountain for reports of a small brush fire-When firefighters arrived on scene attempting to locate the brushfire an individual was spotted by Phoenix Police Department officers. That individual was detained and is currently in police custody.

At this time firefighters are up on the Mountain attempting to locate the last of the small hotspots & fully extinguish them. Fire department investigators will be working with The Phoenix Police Dept on investigating the details surrounding this individual and the small fires.

Fire activity on #EastDesertFire has increased despite nighttime cooler temps. Winds challenging crews as the fire moves NE toward Cahava Springs #CaveCreek. No acreage/containment change reported. Crews will continue to work thru the night to suppress fire. #AZFire #AZForestry

Customer service means more than just putting out fires & helping those that are sick or injured. While trimming a HUGE tree for an elderly woman, a man fell 15ft. Paramedics treated and transported the man (who is in stable condition). Station 25 grabbed rakes & finished the job

Critical Incident: With heavy hearts we announce the passing of a Phx PD Commander. Greg Carnicle was shot at the scene of a domestic violence call. Two other officers also shot at 40th Drive and Pinnacle Peak. The two officers are expected to recover. RIP Cmdr Carnicle.
