@taysfavcardigan I think there were so many elements that originated from Eras that formed a period for Swifties where Taylor and Eras Tour was our weekend hang out. It was the bookends to our tough weeks, as opposed to those who just went to the tour.

genuinely startles me to think how new post-2024 swifties wont know the lore behind stuff like surprise song o clock, Swift Alert/Mastermind, all the stupid fan chants, the grainy livestreams. everything about the Eras tour is such a pillar of swiftie faith to me

Olivia's campaign could have been an amazing time of mutual understanding if fans in both camps weren't so entrenched in attacking and taking swipes.

It feels like she just wanted to move on from the song and didn’t do anything to push it. Supporting physical sales is fine, but why ruin a song’s chances instead of trying to get it to #1?

The point of Taylor selling a RSD vinyl is not to get ET to Number 1 (that would not happen whether or not Olivia released this week). It's to support local record stores. That's why she did it.
