The other innings weren’t better. Kids are focused on looking like a pro while working out of the stretch, trying to throw too hard instead of working on control.

Most of those kids can’t tie their shoes let alone throw 3 out of 7 pitches for strikes. Be honest; in your 9 year old kid pitch leagues, do k’s outnumber putouts and do bb/hbp outnumber hits?

This bothers me. These kids are 3-4 years away from being able to kid pitch baseball that actually looks like baseball. They are being robbed of a fun youth baseball experience. They don’t need to be playing machine pitch. They don’t need to be playing coach pitch. They need to be playing T-ball! The worst part is… This is going on in hundreds of thousands of communities across the US. Misguided rec league boards and parents pushing their kids to play kid pitch too early because they think it’s what’s best for their development. Super frustrating to see. Can someone make me feel better and tell me this is AI? Hope so.

I really can’t imagine a robot holding someone’s hand while thy are dying - I can’t imagine a robot praying for them and believing that God is hearing their reverberations. No soul, no empathy, just movements as expected. I’m a nurse - I just can’t see that part of humanity fading out. Granted it may not be a paid part in ten years, but I pray that there are those that will pray by the dying and hold their hands.
