No one cares but opinion on the format: - dex is ok but some typings like ground and grass are rly suffering - item limitation is cool in concept but the item pool is quite bad, less rng and basic things like lo and av would have helped - no mega feels too strong and it's great

@Rednu23 Because a lot of Pokemon fan of the mainline game are starving for the classic Pokemon experience, and in every Pokemon game they are going to complain about something stupid even if the game is clearly not made for them. Even on Pokopia I’ve heard really stupid statements

@thats_sew_kim they seems to forget that you need to play the game to actually progess and unlock more things, especially in a free to play game

@thats_sew_kim yeah, definetly way to much. The majority of the critics, as usual, came from heard from other people, without even trying the game. For example regarding the complain regarding box space no one talk about the fact that if you go up in the ladder you get more space

@lorcylovesyou Yeah, content wise is almost a beta, especially regarding the items, but the actual Pokemon pool is not that different from the start of a new game’s metagame, and the balance changes are almost all perfect. Glad someone isn’t just randomly regebaiting, the game have potential

I do like that the game feels super fast, bringing over evs from home is super good, I think the game has some positives and so far I’m loving all the nerfs

@VGChampStats Archaludon is a beast, and if no real counters show up in final Champions’s roster its usage will rise a lot. Then for the rest a lot of strong mega are still missing, so a lot it’s going to change

@niraco17 oltre al fatto di garantire partite brevi, il genere secondo me va forte anche perché si presta benissimo ad essere giocato mentre si ascolta ad esempio un podcast/video/musica in sottofondo, specialmente per i roguelite più action

I roguelite-roguelike sono diventati uno dei generi più popolari degli ultimi anni e il motivo si fonda principalmente sulla loro capacità di adattarsi alla perfezione a una generazione sempre con meno tempo, offrendo sessioni rapide, progressione e gratificazione immediata. Senza voler sminuire il sottogenere, capace di mostrarsi in forme variegate (penso a Hades, The Binding of Isaac, Slay the Spire o Inscryption) e brillanti, ciò che mi preoccupa è il fatto che oggi siano ovunque. Anche la scena indipendente, storicamente terreno di sperimentazione a tutto tondo, sta riempiendo gli store roguelite (o like) ed il rischio è quello di trasformare un’idea brillante in un formato troppo inflazionato.

@POW3R_GC e poi ci sono io, che trovo più sconveniente la situazione di un creator che per campare può contare solo sul proprio pubblico, a cui rischia inconsciamente di andare dietro in base al sentiment del momento, rispetto ad uno che accetta le sponsor da X compagnie diverse

vedete l'errore è questo perché il messaggio di Falconero e Playerinside sull'essere indipendenti è correttissimo. Il problema che "quelli che parlano di conflitto d'interessi" sono questi scemi che sono usciti fuori a fare la caccia alle streghe

@lorcylovesyou cosidering that the Tera works this way, probably they are going to align the logic of this type of transformative mechanics, outside the specifics case, can make sense in the long term if they desided to allow more gimmick in the same regulation

it seems like mega evolving has priority of swapping which means for example metagross with clear body if they decide to mega on the same turn an intimidate Mon switches in, that means metagross gets intimidated now because it loses clear body due to it mega evolving.

Crimson Desert is a formulation of other legendary action/ RPG /open world games Witcher, Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, Elden Ring, Horizon, Dragon Age. The list can go on. If you like those games. It’s hard to believe you will dislike this game imo

@BMKing23 Yeah, probably the worst DLSS result that I’ve faced in any recent video game, it’s look way better going down in the setting main quality but using the native resolution, compared to highest detail and the DLSS on. There is for sure something that it’s not working

There’s something weird going on with DLSS in #CrimsonDesert. For some reason, DLAA looks softer than DLSS Quality, Balanced, or even Performance. This affects both DLSS 4 and 4.5 presets.

@hardwarecanucks Yeah, no way to play it on a MSI claw 8 ai+, even if on paper should be possibile comparing it to others handheld. Really poor supporto from the team. I had so much hope, what a letdown

Crimson Desert offering straight up refunds for Intel Arc users instead of promising even future support is certainly something. The game won't even boot on Arc, including Lunar Lake & Panther Lake laptops. 😬
