JUST IN: 15-year-old illegal immigrant starts crying while getting arrested after he allegedly shot a tourist and fired at police in Times Square. Poor baby. “He was crying. When he was apprehended, he was crying… Here he is committing these adult acts, that’s something you don’t expect a child to do, and then when he’s apprehended, he’s brought out in handcuffs crying,” said NYPD spokesman Carlos Nieves. Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa and his two friends tried robbing a JD Sports store and were stopped by a security guard. The teen then pulled out a .45-caliber handgun and fired into a crowd. Nieves said that the teen would most likely be charged with attempted murder of a police officer. The teen is from Venezuela and arrived in September. It didn’t have to be this way.
