@RslewisSally How do we do this better and quicker - the will is there to make it happen but not sure the drivers are persuasive enough. We have to prove it can be better for patients and staff. Really happy to work with you on it 👌

It amazes me the rapidity with which the healthcare system moves from crying 'shift left!' to cutting everything that enables that shift. Sometimes a matter of hours. I don't know why it amazes me any more but it still does.

The Emergency Department (A&E) at Morriston Hospital is experiencing unusually high demand and we are urging the public to use alternatives where possible. But if you have chest pains/stroke/serious illness or serious injury, you MUST still come to ED - not the Minor Injury Unit.

We often talk the need to focus on preventative care.   Today at the @SwanseabayNHS Pulmonary Rehabilitation session in Bryncoch, I saw a great example of this in practice. We need these types of PR exercise and education programmes in every part of Wales!
