@PythonPr 1 Because the first elif is a true condition, so it executes it.

Asake said in his interview with Korty that there was a time he wanted to leave home to go and fight for his life and go full time into music, but his dad said NO, he disobeyed and left regardless. As a young guy trying to work his way up, your parents will never understand your dream as much as you do, only you see the vision. If you follow everything your parents say, you won’t be greater than them. They can only show you the roadmap that has produced results for them, and in most cases, it’s them trying to protect you since the direction they give you is seen to be safe. Most times, they just want you to go to school, finish with a good grade and get a 9-5 job and that’s it. Any other thing outside of this is seen as a big risk to most of our parents, unsafe. But too much safety limits a man, at some point, you just have to take some risks, either you lose or win big; this type of decision is one your parents will never agree to just because they don’t understand it. And it still won’t make sense to them until it starts making you money. My parents had a problem with me always being on my phone at some point, same phone has opened a lot of doors for me today and made me a lot of money. Listen to your parents, but don’t digest/accept everything they say. If they aren’t living the type of life you want for yourself, that’s enough sign that you need to do things differently to get a better result.

Best backend stack for a Nigerian dev building their first SaaS right now: – Node.js + Express (you already know it) – Supabase (database + auth in one, free tier is generous) – @pxxl_space(free deployment, no CORS nightmare) – Paystack (not Stripe — your users have Nigerian cards) – Sentry (catch bugs before your users report them) You can build something real with this in a weekend. No excuses ooo What are you building?

There’s a guy on my timeline I feel bad for because nobody interacts with his tweets. Every now and then I check one, then notice it’s gone, he quietly deleted it. Today I decided to be his only supporter and turn on notifications… then I saw the edit profile button

7 things I wish I knew before learning web development: 1. You don’t need to learn everything 2. Projects matter more than certificates 3. Debugging is normal 4. Google is part of coding 5. Consistency beats talent.
