I just had an AONTU canvasser at the door. An elderly gentleman, 80's, I'd guess. He asked if I knew who Peadar Tobín was. I do, I replied, and he won't be getting any votes from this house, sorry. I very politely explained. I see, says him, looking me up and down in disgust. 🤷♀️

it is actually so scary and so important that we notice all this rising sentiment that’s negative towards any kind of childcare and squash it like a bug. this is nearly as scary as the push back on abortion rights. rhetoric that demands women be stuck at home 24/7 is really bad.
