It is a crying shame that the Indian state prosecutes critical speech and that some number of its most celebrated thinkers and artists have to seek political asylum in other countries - seeking refuge not from thugs and terrorists, but from the State itself. #BlasphemyDay

Jews like the first movie, but ignored the sequels, Christians think you need to watch the first two, but the 3rd doesn’t count, Muslims think the third one was the best, and Mormons liked the second one so much they wrote fanfiction that doesn’t fit with ANY of the series canon.

Think of religion being like a movie. The Torah is the first one, and the New Testament is the sequel. Then the Qu’ran comes out, and it retcons the last one like it never happened. There’s still Jesus, but he’s not the main character anymore, and the messiah hasn’t shown up yet.

Being an Ex Muslim is an extremely difficult choice and coming out as one, even more. That does not mean we don't exist. We do and most of the time, in secret. The world wouldn't know of us till we speak out. So here we are claiming space. Here we are, #AwesomeWithoutAllah.
