The job of SCOTUS is not to subjectively determine whether a law is stupid. Their job is to interpret the Constitution and rule on whether a law violates it.
If MAGA wants to end birthright citizenship, they should pursue a constitutional amendment.
If you don’t like the separation of powers our Constitution outlines, then leave the country.

The Iron Dom is important & saves lives. Israel should be able to buy it on their own with a $45 defense billion budget. Israel is a first world country, and it can pay for the defensive systems it needs. We should not be subsidizing them, especially given their egregious violations of human rights law. The Supreme Court needs nine justices who will do exactly what Ketanji Jackson does, except in the other direction.
Democrats appoint justices who care only about Left-wing outcomes, while Republicans appoint principled losers who only care about process or public opinion.
This imbalance cannot last indefinitely. The faction that is utterly determined to win at all costs will inevitably crush the faction that can't ever bring itself to explicitly take its own side.

The core of the birthright citizenship discussion is really about whether or not the left can permanently insert the concept of diversity into the Constitution, thereby dissolving any concept of a true American nation. This has been their project since the 1960s. Anyone with any sense knows that the Founders never anticipated the kind of diversity America is dealing with today. America wasn't racially diverse until the 1980s. America was a biracial country that averaged 12% Black and 87% White from the 1620s to the 1980s. Over 350 years. There is absolutely no reason, zero, that the Supreme Court should interpret the Constitution as a pledge to uphold diversity through nonsense like birthright citizenship. If the Constitution becomes a national suicide pact then it loses its function entirely.

Before you completely freak out, the traditional understanding of the 14th Amendment, which we are seeking to change, is not an insane reading of it. Nor are our arguments insane like the left has been same. That’s baloney to just shut us up. Neither side is frivolous.
It’s a tough call legally and objectively speaking. But when we lose it, and I think we will, don’t freak out that this is some sort of conspiracy. It’s a hard legal decision. Sadly, we have three judges who aren’t even going to try to examine the question and will always vote for what leftists want. But the rest of the court has to make a tough legal call.
I think our reading is the correct one. For various reasons, I think they’re going to rule against us. Don’t freak out when they do. It’s not an utterly irrational ruling like so many of the district court opinions we’ve seen.

I don’t quite agree with many of the responses here.
It’s not exactly because Iryna was white. If she had been murdered by someone in a category the left hates, they would exploit her murder to no end.
They simply bury anything that doesn’t fit into their fake ‘oppressed/oppressor’ hierarchy.
