I’m pretty sure LLMs have been trained to treat IQ more like a personality trait than an objective measurement, because they tell literally everyone they’re 130 +/- 10pts It’s the same type of consistency you see asking them stuff like “based on our chat history, do you think I’m a good person?” It just always says yes because the companies know that if it doesn’t the users will freak out If they were actually attempting to estimate peoples IQ then surely it would sometimes guess numbers that are within one standard deviation of your country’s average
