ICE now has a budget the size of the United States Marine Corps and it's only starting to be put to use. Bullish on deportations and even more bullish on self-deportations as we cut non-citizens out of our welfare and Medicaid systems, in addition to potentially banking (huge)

Takaichi just won. Everything went perfectly for her at this summit. The ultimate fear in Japan was that Trump was going to press her on military support in Iran, and if she refused, turn on Japan the way he’s now lashing out at NATO. Takaichi instead was able to clearly convey that Japan would not be able to participate due to constitutional limitations, and actually got Trump to accept that reasoning.

I interviewed President Trump by phone. He doubled down on his anger at NATO and said all we need is “numbers” in the Strait to open it, Iran has nothing left. Also, when asked if Japan gave any assurance of military support given that 90 percent of their oil comes from the Strait, the President say they have Constitutional restraints but would be there for us if we needed them, saying “Japan is better ally than NATO.” More to come on The Story. 3 pm and on The Five tonight.

No, I don't think AI should be thanked, credited for its work, celebrated, chastised, or treated as anything other than a tool. Should we start crediting Visual Studio Code on every commit? Should we also credit Python? How about crediting Apple for their computers, which made that particular commit possible?

Honestly, as someone who has traveled a lot, India is the best country I have ever traveled to. It’s incredible. I will have been here for 9 days when I leave, and there is still so much to see and do. My experience has been amazing and India is portrayed negatively in the media as a place Amercians should avoid, but I realize a lot of that is completely made up. The people, food, culture and hospitality culture are just incredible. I have felt safe and comfortable the entire time I have been here and India will truly be the next big super power. This country has incredible potential and you have to see it yourself to understand because the media only makes it out to be 3rd world. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Indian people are the nicest people I have ever met. I am very grateful for my time in India. I have enjoyed it so much and I hope I can come back every year. Next time I want to visit South India. I have tried to do as much as possible these last 9 days but there is still so much to see and do. All good things come to an end. I’ll be back (hopefully soon). I love India. My misconceptions have been corrected. I have nothing but nice things to say. 🇮🇳

@MatthewParrott @DrDominicNg Definitions are scaffolds for our thinking and don’t always really exist out there in the real world. I would call it AGI if it could do any human job at least as well and wouldn’t collapse in a few hours or days but could do so consistently for years.

It will be worse with AGI, because once AI is smarter than the smartest human, and robots move better and faster with no errors and cheap mass produced, humans will be simply useless, like when a toddler helps you do something, cute but makes it slower.
