@G2Rosso @ForzaMotorsport Honestly, as it was the last Forza game that I played, I still remember there were big issues with FM4 too. This is a pic of the last league racing livery I had, back in The RWS (2012!) I remember it being basically impossible to get a full lobby of drivers connected in MP mode.

forza.net/news/forza-mot… Warning - Nathan @ForzaMotorsport rant inc On the one hand, it's great to see developers taking accountability of clear issues but on the other, some of these things should never have seen the light of day if somebody in the process said what they actually felt. - Car progression tied to competitive multiplayer is completely insane. It's baffling that this got through multiple levels of design and QA without somebody saying 'this isn't working'. I'm totally fine with career mode based progression, in fact, I'd recommend it. It gives solo players a sense of achievement and creates attachment to cars. For multiplayer, all cars and upgrades should be free. It should be a sandbox with no restrictions on who has what. Give us clear car divisions, PI limits and regular hoppers and support leagues, esports and casual game modes through this hub. Bring back mothballed community features that made FM great! - FRR... I mean I kinda feel bad for them here as in principle it's the right idea. In practice, it's just...bad. They need time and data to refine this but I think it's a feature much needed and worth waiting for. - On the whole, Forza has been on a steady decline now since FM4 (some would argue FM2, even). I think there needs to be a real focus now on the identity of the game. They're trying to be everything but none of the basics are right. The foundations are shaky and so the whole game is just one big compromise. What is Forza Motorsport? I don't think the developers know anymore and if they don't, how are we supposed to? - As it stands (and I've said this for a while now), if @thegranturismo and @playstation found a way to bring cross platform to GT through Steam (please, figure this out) Forza Motorsport would die within a month. That's the gulf that is there now. As a Sim-Cade title, it does almost everything better. - All in all, this was 6 years of insane resource and time completely fumbled. Can you imagine what AC or Rennsport or even F1 would have become in the same time frame? With the same support and budget? I can't really sit here and fight for a positive around a franchise that gave me so much when I was younger.
