I am excited to shared that I've just been awarded my first R01 from @NIH @NIMHgov . It has been a long road, but I am very grateful that this happened especially in this uncertain time! I am thankful for those who provided support in one way or another!

@NIH @NIMHgov In case anyone wondering about the timeline, I submitted this application in June 2024. I know this year has been quite challenging for the whole scientific community. I hope those who are still waiting on your federal funding applications hear back soon.

I am also grateful for the NIH staff, for whom this may be a challenging time as well. I can’t wait to jump on this project to investigate the role of the entorhinal cortex in long-term memory formation!

I enjoyed attending #SfN for the first time in five years. @neuroventura Suman and @atharvadingank2 did a great job presenting their work!! It was wonderful seeing old friends and interacting with amazing scientists!
