Oldest is about two years away from getting his license, thinking about what he’s going to drive. Top priorities are safety, cheap insurance, and decent MPG. Kiddo wants a Jeep. Options: 1) YJ. Build it up as a father/son project. Wife says no, we “need” airbags. 🫩 2) XJ/MJ. Getting difficult to source for a decent price. 3) TJ. Rusted frames and costly kits. 4) WJ. Tempting, but I don’t entirely trust a 4.7 and the transmission behind the 4.0 is trash. So… now I’m thinking possibly finding an FJ Cruiser instead. Thoughts on the FJ? I know it’s basically a 4Runner coupe, but is there anything else I should know about these?

@michele_s123 You know, crazy you mention this. I drive by a autism clinic almost every day and it's ALWAYS packed full of moms and kids every day. It's really sad.
