NEW: Premier Doug Ford says the $28.9M Challenger jet has been sold back to Bombardier for the same price; but @MaritStiles has asked the auditor general to examine the deal. thestar.com/politics/provi…

No longer a mistake. Premier Doug Ford says he's now getting calls from the public to "keep the damn plane" as he stresses that he's only apologizing for the failure to communicate the decision properly. #onpoli

Today, Minister @PrabSarkaria and I called on the federal government to support the expansion of Highways 11 and 17. As part of the Trans‑Canada network, this vital transportation corridor connects the North, Ontario, and the entire country to support Canada’s economic security and defence readiness. Ontario continues to make significant investments and advance work to improve and widen these critical arteries. Now, we are asking the federal government to help accelerate this project of national significance with serious funding and by removing duplicative federal review processes. This is about partnership, nation‑building, and strengthening the sovereignty of Canada.

Doug Ford is turning the plane around mid-air for an emergency landing because he got caught living like a rockstar on your dime. Just like the Greenbelt: Ford only reverses when the heat gets too hot. The Premier’s buyer’s remorse isn’t good enough when it’s your money. Now, will he vote to ban surveillance pricing tomorrow? x.com/maritstiles/st…

JD Vance in Hungary: "You should never have a foreign head of state threatening the head of government of an allied nation. It's preposterous, it's unacceptable."

At this important moment for our country’s future, Canadians with a broad range of experience and perspectives are uniting to build Canada strong. I am honoured to welcome Marilyn Gladu today as the newest member of this government and our Liberal caucus. In a time of global economic uncertainty, Canada’s success will depend on how we build ambition into progress and strengths into sustained advantage. Marilyn brings the practical, results-driven leadership this effort demands. Having spent decades of her career in engineering and international business, she understands what it takes to create good jobs, strengthen supply chains, and ensure Canadian industry can compete in a rapidly changing global economy. She has been elected by the people of Sarnia—Lambton–Bkejwanong in four straight elections since 2015, and repeatedly earned recognition from colleagues across Parliament for her proven willingness to work constructively across party lines. I’m looking forward to working closely with Marilyn to build a stronger and more independent Canadian economy, meeting the challenges of a changing world with lasting opportunities for all.
