@TheShortBear Curious where you get expectancy data from and how you go about analyzing it? Thanks for all your posts, very informative to developing a proper edge.

@LongoKen_Trades Support breaking in SC’s? I don’t think that’s even a thing with such manipulation

@LongoKen_Trades @macrofinan43663 Only furus can hit the 1 entry with full size and nail it every time smh 🤦♂️

@macrofinan43663 Alot of times, it's hard to find the top.
If I only short at one spot only and put the stop in, you are prone to stopping out at random reclaims 👍 Just something I've realized with my style.

@tacoxmoney Did you come to the game with a lot of prior money from other successful ventures? I find these people often have the highest odds of success as it allows them to trade care free and at the top of their game consistently.

I used to idolize the market. It took a very long time for me to finally acknowledge that it ain’t all that. I’m at the point in my journey where I honestly don’t give a shit if I miss an A+ setup. And it’s not about the money. For me it’s about being mentally free from having the need to take a trade. I wish I understood this when I first started out. It’s all good. It’s not too late!! I’m having fun right now… and that’s how it should have been from the very fucking beginning 🤪

@zander_odom Almost overnight when changed certain aspects. ex. Applying backtested system and then for discretionary it was proper stock selection
These changes result in immediate p&l but we make them harder than they need to be by not accepting change and overlooking important variables
English

The shift in my trading was extremely fast. That is because I made a major change in my trading which was the system that I was trading.
I spent all of 2023 trading various discretionary setups aside from my systems, and tried improving via daily review/small adjustments. I did find consistency in that too, but it wasn't from the daily improvement. It was from the actual setup itself.
There are an infinite number of small lessons to learn in trading, and oftentimes a certain nuance on one ticker that led to a bad trade could be the reason another trade worked (high variance, high randomness)
So my theory is that most of your time should be focused on figuring out which big picture variables (setup or other macro nuance) are important. And as for the small little lessons here and there, they can be useful for idea generation and fixing easy repetitive mistakes. However focusing all your time on those will not turn you profitable. You have to focus most your time on the significant variables.
If the poll shows most had a gradual shift in pnl, then I could be wrong. Maybe its different for every trader. However, if it shows most had a quick reversal in their declining equity curve, then maybe there is some merit to this theory.
If you're unprofitable, it may be a bad sign if your trading looks the same month over month.

$150K+ Insane day! Market is just insane and it creates tons of opportunities everyday ! Day is still very early and I can probably keep scalping till the end but decided to stop and get some rest. Literally slept only 3 hrs every day this week.
Market is just crashing and I missed a big opportunity yesterday. I focused more on large cap today.
Mainly traded $INTC $NVDA $TSLA in the large cap. Traded them both long and short. Had pretty good read today.
Mainly traded $vsee $akan in the small cap. Overnighted $imrx $xcur and worked just fine.
$vsee Accumulated long positions in $VSEE during the early premarket and nailed the long trade, then flipped to short and nailed that as well. Pretty good read on this one as well.
Nailed nearly half mill this week since the vacation. What a week ! Hope this market continues to provide these insane opportunities !

3 fucking years.. 3 years and 23 days to be exact, but hey.. who's counting! Lol. Literal blood, sweat and tears.. but thanks to $SERV yesterday I finally blew out of my 3 year and 23 day drawdown and am finally back at ATHs P&L.
July 7th 2021 I hit the best part of a $30k draw down (around 30% of account at time for context) after the covid bubble had clearly ended but I continued to try for the big gains and days I had been having, by trying to force size on unideal trades and scenarios. That continued into 2022 where I had some big gains wiped out by more big losses. By mid 2022 - with my account near the limits - I sized all the way back to $10 R per trade, to just focus on the process and forget about the $$. Cos I knew if I couldn't overcome this I would never make it! I proved my process and system before allowing myself to slowly begin to size back up and now, yesterday, finally made new ATHs.
To say I went through every emotion these past few years would be an understatement. But your boy aint no quitter. I put my head down and did the necessary work, and although at times it was very hard and there was self doubt, anxiety, depression all that shit.. I honestly wouldn't change it... cos like they say.. pressure makes diamonds.. and I've learnt so much about myself and character that its made me grow in ways i could never have imagined.
So if you're going through shit.. this is your reminder to KEEP GOING!!!! Dont listen to anyone but yourself and do what you feel is right to do and grow into the best version of YOURSELF!
No where near my goals/aspirations.. but blue skies is a start!
LFGGGG!!!!

I know I can make endless amounts of money in this game but is the stress and emotional sacrifices worth it? Who knows, maybe it is maybe it isn't.
I could not have gotten to this point without my bro @LongoKen_Trades. We have been in this game from the beginning.
