An independent Alberta could potentially have zero income tax if we don’t have to support Canada. We have more oil and less population than UAE who have no personal income tax. Let’s go! #AlbertaIndependence

@Line_Fault @Jamessstanton Hydro Quebec also artificially lowers electricity prices to gain the equalization system. If they charged market rates, the government would gain more income thereby hurting equalization payments.

@cgy_guy Like Norway. It's would be mixed-market economy or social democracy, not communism. We keep lowering corporate taxes... so it would be the current amount or less. It would need to go up by 10% or more in case the war ends and prices drop, or solar takes over in a decade.
